Learning Commons update from NCSU

At dinner, Carolyn and I spoke briefly about NCSU plans to build a Learning Commons in the reference area on their 1st floor. I forgot to ask her how many workstations they are putting in. The Learning Commons committee is library-only so they are not partnering with their Computer Center at this time. She says they will likely hire IT savvy grads and undergrads. They hope to open their Commons in Fall 2006.
