ALA presentation on institutional repositories

Wanderings of a student librarian has a nice summary of a presentation at ALA on Institutional Repositories Policies and Practices. It was interesting to read about the different models. One thing I took away from reading the summary is that it is important for faculty to feel they have ownership of the repository. It is also important to keep submission of items as simple as possible. One library is submitting the information on behalf of the faculty.
